FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Main:
  1. Acts as focal office for all BSU quality assurance concerns
  2. Facilitates BSU adherence to quality standards, upon instructions of, and through, the Office of the BSU  President.
Specific:
* Coordinates with offices within, and outside of BSU, regarding quality assurance;
* Facilitates the conduct of quality assurance activities;
* Warehouses data and documents relating to quality assurance; and
* Keeps posted of quality assurance standards and activities (national and international)
SCOPE, shall cover but is not limited to the following
INTERNATIONAL:
  1. ISO 9001:2008 Quality Management System (QMS) certification, and other applicable ISO certification
  2. International accreditation and initiatives, such as AIMS (ASEAN International Mobility for Students) and UMAP (University Mobility in Asia and the Pacific)
  3. QS (Quacquarelli Symonds) Stars Rating System, Times Hingher Education (THE) Impact Rankings, World’s Universities with Real Impact (WURI) Rankin
NATIONAL:
  1. AACCUP (Association of Accredited Chartered Colleges and Universities of the Philippines, Inc.) accreditation — both program and institutional
  2. CHED Institutional Sustainability Assessment (ISA)
